| Thought I'd put up another entry. Today's friday the 13th and I had a pretty shitty morning. Kind of fitting.
Got up, felt pretty good, got ready for work, got out the door on time but it was foggy and cold. Was rocking a hoody tho so was all good. Got to the station, got my ticket, got on. All going ok. Get on my train and get off again where I need to change and that's where it started going pear shaped. Most of the trains were running 20-25 behind time, as it is my train is meant to get out my work end 10 minutes before I start (like 5 minute walk so it's normally alright). So yeah. Not as late as the other trains but still enough to be an issue. There's a delay between 2 stations and by the time it gets going again to get me to my destination I get off at the time I'm meant to start.
This wouldn't normally be too much of an issue with most workplaces. I get in 5 minutes late, not too bad. Look for the safe key, not in it's usual spot. Search through the cupboards, no find. Call up my area manager and he thought it should be in the normal spot, makes a phone call and tells me where it is. In the convo (at 9.15) I say I'd been looking for 15 minutes. He was like "What do you mean 15 minutes! You came in 6 minutes late". Turns out the fucker was spying for when I came in, watching his watch and trying to catch me out. I've been late a few times and the trains keep fucking me up but yeah. He's got it in for me at the moment. I find the key, try to unlock the safe and it doesn't seem to work with the combination I know. Turned out they changed the combination and didn't tell me that either.
Must've pretty much busted a nut catching me out, seems he'd like to see me leave. Has a company rat who's new to the company, completely shit at the job but gives any information the manager wants so he obviously sees value in having him around. There's another staff member that's getting targeted too. He gave me an 'official warning', written out and shit. I had to sign it. Pretty much 3 strikes and you're out kind of material. He's already suggested that he wants to see me go but didn't have the back bone to own up to it. I think I'm gonna call him on it sometime soon. Time to start looking for another job I'm thinking. I only have to give a week's notice if I get out soon. I've been working for em for 9 1/2 months and they only just got my tax file number and employment contract dealt with. If they want to keep pushing I think I'm going to push back to get my whole time there's casual pay back-pay. They've been paying me as a full time employee for the whole time while not having me signed officially as one. I also want to know where the fuck my tax has been going. I better not be given a tax debt for them not being able to get their shit together.
So yeah, had the manager hovering around a bit today. After him being physical revved up to deliver my warning (dude was literally shaking and shit) next time I talked to him he tried to be my friend again. The fuck's with that? He seems to swing from thinking I'm a menace and a shit employee to being able to sunbake while I bend over. I hate people like that and am going to cut back to simply being civil to him and the rat I think. I'm tired of the politics and fuckers that care about their job way too much. I mean work's work. A way to make ends but this is far from a career. There's plenty of other dead end jobs I could get.
I think I'm gonna try to get a job in a music store. Sure there's not forward progress to be made in that either but atleast it's in my field of interest. Haha.

| Wow. I'd kinda forgot about this for a minute. I don't think many people would've been reading it before anyway but I think I might revive this one and have it as a place for some insight in to what I'm doing that isn't put on myspace straight off the bat. Could be a pretty cool award for the loyal heads that want to dig it up. Haha.
Anyway yeah. Just over 3 years since my last entry. Crazy. What's new? Not too much hey. Was working security, now work in a watch store and am starting to feel like I need a change from that. Still rapping, still haven't dropped an official release but have had a pretty good run with my duo Offensive Linesmen between times which seems to be coming to an end now. All good tho, not like I haven't been solo before. I'm working on a solo mixtape called "Every1 Loves U.D.", is coming together pretty nicely I think. My boy MCRotheee is helping me by recording it for me over at KutPaste studios. Gonna have some nice guests in the mix if all goes to plan and a few different vibes showing where I'm at now and that I have a bit of versatile ability. I'm also still with my beautiful girl, she's not just my girlfriend anymore tho, she's my fiance. Been engaged since the 15th of September last year (2 days before my girl's b'day). Haven't got a date set yet as we're still deciding what we want to do. Haha.
Want to know where I'm at on the mixtape? Dropped 6 verses last friday with Roth. They've all turned out pretty nicely I think. A couple are for collabs and a couple solos, got another couple straight solos in the works at the moment still in the writing stage. Most of the beats on the mixtape will be jacked but will have a couple of originals. Should be atleast one joint in the mix produced by my boy DJ Bourboncan, he's got some dope shit. The mixtape was going to be mixed by my boy DJ Incryptic but he managed to break his arm wakeboarding and is going to be out of action too long. Gonna check out a couple of other avenues on that front but don't have to worry about it so much at this stage since I'm still putting together my parts. Would be good to get their input and some beat suggestions for me to lace tho. I'll see what's up.
I'm gonna have to finally get myself a recording set-up to get myself out there more. Get my guest spot hustle on and try to give my music a bit more of a serious push instead of just bumming around and doing whatever. Trying to present myself in a more professional way and get my shit together for real. Also hoping to get a more music related day job if I can swing it. But yeah. If anyone needs a press release written up for anything keep me in mind, I'm good at dribbling shit but making it sound half decent. Haha. I'll do it for cheap tho (wouldn't mind writing for a crumb, not confidence I'd get enough work to live tho. Haha). I'm also considering putting together a demo and seeing where I stand in the eyes of the more major labels. I'm probably not safe enough and I'm def not willing to give up creative control but would be an interesting exercise none the less.
Anyway, for a lil' blog to say I'm back this has become a bit too substantial. Haha.

| What's good peoples? One of ma girls mentioned that someone wanted them to sign up to Xanga and I told her I had one. Thought I might as well drop an entry seeing as it came up. Lol
Aigh. Well I've been with my girl 16 months now. Coming up on 17 months (the 11th of June). That's my longest relationship by like 4 months now which is pretty crazy. I've been working on my mixtape instead of slacking. I've got about a half hour's worth of material gathered including the 'Dreams' verse you're hearing playing now. Let me know what you think of it.
I'm looking to collab with anyone interested (primarily in Australia to help promote me over here). Done a couple of collabs lately and Plague and I should be throwing a track in to the OzHipHop mixtape submissions which should be good. As a duo we're called Royal Fam. Gonna start working on some tracks to circulate soon and then do a full length outing that will be given out for free.
I've started a local Hip-Hop community called BNE's Finest which can be found at http://www.bnesfinest.net - It's slowly growing and should be more pimp with the upgrades I have in mind. The frontpage at the moment is just a temp and will be replaced shortly with content as well. The Coalition Crew (dope outfit from my city) are likely to be the jump off spotlight artists. It's a site to showcase the local community's scene but anyone is welcome to sign up and learn more about it. There's also forums for other subjects too.
I've seen a couple of movies of late. The new Triple X movie was alright with Ice Cube and Xzibit in it. The new 'Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy' movie was better with Mos Def holding it down. I'm likely to go see the new Star Wars movie with my girl sometime soon. Sounds prett dope. And I've been losing some weight. Hopefully it'll continue and you'll be able to seen a leaner, meaner YouDee in the future.

| Damn, been a minute since I posted on here hey? How time flies when you're having fun, or just living like I've been.
Hmmmm. Now to think what's new. Not my girl. I'm still with her and still love her as much as ever. She's now my longest relationship coming up on 15 months on the 11th of April. Crazy hey? I've been working at a new venue for 3 months. Since the 5th of January. Different, I'm unsure if it's better or not but I get more hours so that doesn't hurt.
Musically? Well I'm doing some shit with Brisbane producer Dave-V at the moment. He's got his own little label happening called Chump Records which is sure to drop some dope shit. Hopefully I'll get to appear on some of their releases. I might be performing at the release party for their 'Lifestyles Grade One' compilation. Hopefully I'l also be on Grade Two of the series.
I'm working on my solo mixtape too. Promo 3 is recorded but I've just gotta stop slacking and record the tracks so I can get it out and circulating. I've got 2 days off so that's likely to atleast be on it's way with any luck. The duo I'm in with Plague ANZACs is putting together a mixtape called "World War I: The Mixtape" which should be dope. It'll feature us as well as other artists from Australia and New Zealand. I've got an appearance on Plague's upcoming "The Infection" mixtape and on a mixtape coming up in the US as well. Appearing on fellow Brisbanite Bulzai's promo/demo dropping soon too and featured on the new "Money in the Bank" mixtape from Adelaide rapper Dee-Enay. (That's right he wants to put his name in your mouth  ).
I'm not completely sure what else I've got coming up in the immediate future tho. Hopefully some more guest spots on mixtapes and tracks around the place tho. NZ duo 3PS have a mixtape in the works that I'm meant to be featuring on. And I was talking to someone about possibly jumping on another. So hopefully this shit'll keep up so my name will be spreading and get abit of a rep happening.
I started a local hip-hop community too http://www.bnesfinest.tk so feel free to come visit me there. Hopefully there's enough interest in it for me to put some money in and make it as dope as I want it to be.

Anyway.. What's new?.. Hmmmm.. I'm still working on my mixtape.. I'm looking to drop it probably March '05.. I was thinking about my debut solo full-length too.. At the moment I'm liking the title "25 Years in the Making".. If I go ahead with that plan it'll be released January 23rd, 2006.. (My 25th birthday).. In the meantime I'll be doing the mixtape thing as well as doing any guest appearances and mixtape joints tht I get hooked up with as well as my new group project that I'm a part of..
Speaking of which.. I recently got asked to join a local group that's being formed at the moment.. The working name for it is 'Royal Fam' and the line-up currently is penciled as being Plague (local rapper.. Caught a movie with him and his girl yesterday.. Cool peoples).. Fortafy (NZ transplant.. Pretty nice and definately only going to get better) and yours truly.. Fortafy is kinda the only penciled name at this point cause Plague and I are and have been fam' for awhile.. The name was one that I'd been considering using for a group project but this is just as good.. We're going to be recording a promo cd before too long and then we'll be starting to do mixtape projects individually as well as shit as a unit.. Should be cool.. Once we get abit of a fanbase we'll be hitting up labels to try to get a deal.. Wish us luck..
Other than that.. Just been living and working.. Chilling with my girl.. And networking as always.. Look out for upcoming collabos with Chincheck..
